Over here at C-16 in Sector 2A, things are pretty quiet compared to the bigger cities. This is Khetri Nagar, right in the heart of the copper belt in Rajasthan. The address is 333504, and we’ve been part of this community for years. Working here means you get used to the dust and the dry heat of Jhunjhunu. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building where the work happens. We handle the local coordination for Hindustan Copper. Most of us have been living around here for a long time, so we know the routine. It’s not like those high-rise offices with glass walls. We have regular desks, some old ceiling fans that click, and lots of folders. People pop in to discuss the day’s work or to sort out some logistics. We don’t have any marketing people or fancy brochures. We just show up, do the hours, and head home. The Sector 2A area is mostly housing for workers, so it feels like a big neighborhood. Sometimes the water supply is a bit slow or the roads need fixing, but we manage. It’s an honest day's work in a place that’s seen a lot of history with the mines. We just keep things ticking over without making a big fuss about it. There’s always plenty to do and we just take it one step at a time.
