This location for Vedanta Aluminium Ltd is in Jharsuguda, which is a major industrial hub in Orissa. We are specifically over in Burgamuda. Kaleem Ahsan is the one who mostly looks after things here. Kaleem has been here for a long time and knows the ins and outs of the district. We do not have a lot of frills in the office. It is a workplace meant for people who are not afraid to get their hands dirty. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers and workers. The heat in Jharsuguda can be really intense, especially in May, but we are used to it by now. We usually keep the fans running at full speed and just get on with the day. It is not the kind of place where you will see people in suits. We wear what is comfortable and focus on moving the aluminium where it needs to go. It is a hardworking environment for a hardworking town.
