Vedanta Aluminium Limited

We are over here in Jharsuguda at Vss Nagar, operating the aluminium site. People around town just call us Vedanta. Since we moved into Qr No B/94, we've stayed pretty busy with the daily grind. The office isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical place where the real work happens. Mostly, we deal with the regular stuff that comes with running a big plant like this. Some of the staff live right nearby in Kudopali, so it's a short commute. It gets quite dusty around here sometimes, and the heat in Orissa is no joke during the summer months. Handling metal production keeps the local economy moving, which is important for the area. You’ll see trucks coming and going at all hours. Sometimes the paperwork piles up high on our desks, but we manage to get through it. Most of the guys here are local or moved in specifically for the work. We aren't trying to be polished; we are just working. The address is easy to find if you know Vss Nagar well. We just keep the lights on and the metal moving. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every day. There isn't a big lobby or anything like that, just desks and people on phones. If you're looking for us, we are right there in the quarter. It's a busy spot but we like the rhythm of it. The morning shift starts early when the sun is just coming up.
