You can find Somolo Ecoresorts on the second floor of the Krishna Centre. We are right across from the Neo Heights Apartment in Jharsuguda. It’s a decent enough spot, right in the middle of things. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, which is always busy with people and cars. Jharsuguda is a heavy industrial area, so there’s always a bit of dust in the air, but we keep the windows shut most of the time. Our office is pretty simple. We’ve got a few desks, some chairs for visitors, and a small area where we make tea. We’re working on eco-friendly resort ideas, which is a bit different for this part of Orissa. It’s a lot of work trying to figure out the best way to do things without making a mess of the environment. We aren't some big city firm with a fancy lobby. We’re just local people who wanted to start something of our own. The 768201 area is where we spend most of our time. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. We spend our hours looking at land surveys and talking to environmental consultants. It’s a slow process, but we are just plugging away at it every day. It’s a modest setup but it suits what we need. We usually finish up the day by making a list for tomorrow.
