Mobile Pointy

Our shop, Mobile Pointy, is right there across from the Ram Mandir in Marwari Kara. It’s been sitting on this same corner for quite a few years now. Most days it’s pretty loud outside with all the traffic and people going to the temple. Inside, it’s just me and a couple of guys working on phones. We have glass cases full of screen guards and old charging cables that get tangled up no matter how much we straighten them. It’s not a fancy place by any means. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. People come in mostly because their screens cracked or their battery died right when they needed it. We do what we can with the tools we have. Sometimes the internet is slow and it takes longer to download firmware, which is annoying. Customers usually wait on the plastic chairs near the door. We talk about the weather or the local news while the repairs happen. Marwari Kara is a busy spot, so there’s always something happening right out front. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town, just a place where you can get your phone looked at without too much trouble. It gets a bit dusty with the door open all day, but that’s just how it is here. We close up when the sun goes down and do it all again the next morning.
