L & T Construction has a place over at No.42/2 on Sivaji Marg. We are situated right near the hospital in the Marwari Para neighborhood. It’s a busy corner of the world. There’s usually a lot of noise from the street and people coming and going from the hospital. Our office here is pretty basic. We have some maps on the wall and a few old chairs for visitors. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. Most of our day is spent dealing with logistics and making sure materials get where they need to go. Marwari Para is a tight-knit area, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. The heat can be a real bother during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream. We are just here to build and manage projects as they come. It’s a lot of dusty boots and phone calls to suppliers. Sometimes the traffic on Sivaji Marg makes it hard to get the trucks in, but we figure it out. It’s just part of the job. We’ve been at this for a while and we don't plan on changing how we do things. We just stay focused on the tasks that need doing right now.
