Jindal Steel & Power Limited,Patratu,Jharkhand

We are situated in Room Number 20 over at Balkudra in Patratu. This is the Jharkhand side of the Jindal Steel & Power Limited operations. It’s quite a specific spot because we are right there in the At and Po area. If you come by, you’ll see it’s a functional space. Not much decoration on the walls, just some old calendars and charts. We spend our days dealing with the Ramgarh district logistics. The air around here always smells a bit like industrial work because of the location. It’s a dusty place sometimes, especially when the trucks are moving nearby. We have a small team in this room. We share a lot of the work and talk across the desks. It gets loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We don’t have a big lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will look up from their computer. It's mostly about managing the steel and power tasks for this part of the country. There are plenty of files stacked in the corners because we keep records of everything. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific paper but we usually manage. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have time for anything flashy. We just focus on what needs to be done before the day ends. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s the highlight for most of us. We are just a small part of a much bigger thing.
