Our office is in Emerald Apartments, specifically unit 509. It’s up in Amrutha Hills, which is a nice enough part of Hyderabad. Being in an apartment complex means it feels a bit more private and quiet than a shop on the main road. We have a view of the other buildings, and the breeze is okay if you open the balcony door. Tempus Infra Projects has been operating out of here for a while. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is being slow, but we don't mind. We have our desks set up in the main rooms, and the kitchen is mostly used for keeping water cold. Hyderabad traffic can be a nightmare, so we try to get in early before the roads get blocked. Most of our work involves heavy planning for projects elsewhere in Andhra Pradesh or the city. We have a lot of folders stacked up and some whiteboards that are always covered in scribbles. It’s a working space, not a showroom. We don’t really care about having the latest office chairs or expensive art on the walls. We just need a solid place to sit and figure out how to get the next infrastructure job done right. It’s a small group of us, and we know how each other likes their tea. It gets a little messy when a big project is due, but we usually manage to find what we need eventually. That’s just the way we like to work.
