Zedca(Zee Network)

We are based out of the Baramasia area in Deoghar, specifically near the Middle School at Army Bhawan. It’s a bit of a landmark around here, so people usually find us without too much trouble. We handle stuff for the Zee Network on a local level. Our office is shared with Sanjay Kumar Roy’s place, near Choudhary Lodge. It’s a busy little spot. We spend our days dealing with cable connections, looking at technical issues, and talking to subscribers who have problems with their signal. Deoghar can be a bit tricky with the weather sometimes affecting the equipment, so we stay pretty active. We aren't a big fancy media office like you’d see in Mumbai. It’s just a few of us in a room with some monitors and a lot of cables. We know most of the people who live nearby since we’re often out and about fixing things. It’s a lot of manual work and troubleshooting. Sometimes we have to climb up to check wires or reset something at the lodge. We don't have any formal uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for working outside or in the office. It’s a decent job that keeps us connected to the town. We just try to keep the TV running for everyone so they can watch their shows. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the complaints and the technical glitches.
