Soniya Garments

Soniya Garments is our shop located in Gursarai. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, and most people in the town know where we are. It’s not a very complicated business. We just stock up on the kinds of clothes that people here like to wear, mostly stuff for daily use and the occasional special event. The shop is pretty modest, just a room with some glass cases and racks. We don’t have a big team of employees or anything like that. It’s usually just us handling everything from opening the shutters in the morning to cleaning the floors at night. Gursarai is a place where everyone knows everyone, so a lot of our time is spent chatting with customers about their families or what’s happening in town. We don't try to push people to buy things they don't need. If someone wants a shirt, we show them what we have, and if they like it, they take it. We deal with all kinds of people, from students to older folks, and we try to keep things that appeal to everyone. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive from the city, but we make do with what we have on the shelves. It’s an honest way to work. We aren't looking to expand or become a big name. We’re just happy being a part of the Gursarai community and helping people find clothes that fit them.
