Shree Ram Bricks

You can find Shree Ram Bricks at Plot No-140 in Masuhaganj. We’re right near the degree colleges, so there’s always people walking by. It’s a busy little area. The brick yard isn't huge, but we make it work. We’ve got the kilns set up towards the back. Most days are spent moving mud and stacking the finished products. It gets pretty hot around the fires. We get a lot of students passing through, sometimes they stop to ask what we're doing. It’s just regular brick making. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything is just out in the open at Plot No-140. If it rains, the ground gets real muddy and it’s hard to get the trucks in. We just have to wait for it to dry out. We’ve been here in Masuhaganj for a good while. People around here know us as the place near the colleges. We don't do much in the way of sales talk. People either need bricks or they don't. We just tell them what we have and the price. Most of the work is done by hand. It's a lot of bending and lifting. By the time we're done for the day, everyone is pretty tired. We just lock up the gate and head home, then do it all again tomorrow. It's a steady rhythm we've got going on here. The neighbors are used to the smoke from the kilns and the sound of the workers.
