Shree Ganesh Upadhyay Masala Laghu Udyog

Our little unit, Shree Ganesh Upadhyay Masala Laghu Udyog, is tucked away in Sindhi Colony. If you know where Lal Masjid is, we aren't far from there at all. We are right on Sanjay Talkies Road, which usually has plenty of people walking by. Making masalas is a dusty job, and the smell of spices is always stuck in our clothes. Even after a long shower, you can still smell the turmeric or the chili. It’s a small-scale industry, just like the name says. We don't have a massive factory. It’s more of a workshop where we grind and mix things. Sometimes the machines are loud, and we have to shout to hear each other. The Sanjay Talkies Road area is always lively, especially in the evenings. We’ve got a couple of grinders and a packaging table that’s seen better days, but it works fine for us. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone in suits. Just us and the spices. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the raw seeds before they go into the mill. If the spice isn’t right, the whole batch is ruined. We’ve learned that the hard way over the years. We just keep our heads down and keep the grinders running as much as we can. It’s honest work in a busy part of town. The Lal Masjid nearby is a good landmark for people to find us. We don't have any big signs, so you have to look for the building.
