Our clinic is located in the Sunflower Apartment building, right between the Allahabad Bank circle and the station road here in Civil Lines, Jhansi. It is a busy part of town, especially since we are quite near the Rns World Public School. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a while. It’s a specialized place for people dealing with stomach and liver issues, but we try not to make it feel too clinical or scary for them. The lobby is small with some mismatched chairs and a stack of old newspapers and magazines. We get a lot of people coming in from the station road side because it’s easy to find from the train. The staff is just three of us, including the person who sits at the window to take names. We do a lot of paperwork by hand because the computer system is a bit temperamental and likes to crash when we need it most. The rooms are clean but very simple. We don't have any of those expensive art pieces or TVs on the walls, just some medical charts about digestion. People usually come in worried about their health, so we try to keep the atmosphere calm. It can get a bit loud outside with the school traffic in the mornings, but it eventually settles down. We just focus on seeing our patients and making sure they know what is happening with their bodies. It’s a straightforward medical office for the folks here in Jhansi.
