Pradeep Enterprises

Pradeep Enterprises is based out of Chirgaon, right along the Kanpur Jhansi Highway. It is hard to miss us if you are driving past the Central Bank because we are practically next door. The traffic out here can get quite loud with all the heavy trucks moving goods between the cities, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. My father started things here and now we just keep it going every day. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep our stock and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the plastic chairs until it comes back on. We know most of the people who live around here and the folks who work at the bank often stop by just to say hello or ask for a glass of water. It stays pretty busy during the harvest season when more people are out on the road. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. Usually, we wrap things up by seven or eight in the evening depending on how the day went. The highway lights get bright at night and that’s when we finally lock up the main gate. It is just a simple way of living and working in a place like this. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of stuff get a bit messy when a big delivery arrives unexpectedly.
