This is my small setup for physics tuition in Chaman Ganj, which is part of the Sipri Bazar area here in Jhansi. I focus on the intermediate level because that’s where students really start to find the subject a bit tricky. The room is located in a busy part of the market, so there’s always something going on outside. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stand, but not too far. I have some basic equipment for showing how things work, but mostly it’s just calculations on the board. The walls are a plain white, and I have some old wooden benches for the students. It’s not a polished institute with a big website. I just put up a small board outside so people know where to go. Sipri Bazar is a great place to be because everything you need is right there. I’ve lived in Jhansi all my life and I like teaching the local kids. Sometimes the tea stall next door gets a bit noisy, but the smell of the tea is nice. I don't have a secretary, so I handle all the inquiries myself. If I’m in the middle of a class, you might have to wait a bit before we can talk. It’s a straightforward way of doing things, and it has worked for me for years. I try to keep the chalk supply stocked up because I go through a lot of it during the week.
