Started at Sudha Jain Complex a while ago. It’s right on Gwalior Road in the Mahendrapuri Colony. People mostly know us for the sheds and the tarps we handle. It gets pretty hot here in the summer, especially with all that heavy material lying around. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and cutting. The shop isn't anything fancy. There are usually rolls of stuff leaning against the walls and some tools scattered on the benches. Sometimes the dust from the road comes inside when the trucks go by. We just get on with the work. Customers come in looking for something to cover their roofs or vehicles. It's a lot of manual labor. Most days start early before the sun gets too high. We have a couple of guys who’ve been here for years. They know exactly how to pull the fabric tight. It’s mostly just us doing what we know how to do. The complex stays busy. There are other shops nearby, so there's always someone talking outside. We keep a cooler in the corner for water. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we manage. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workspace where the actual jobs happen. If you walk down Gwalior Road, you can't miss the signs. We’ve been in this spot long enough that most locals just point people our way. It’s just how it is here. The floor is stained with oil.
