We are over at Kasturi Tower in Jhoken Bagh. It’s a busy area and we’ve been here for a bit now. Our team mostly spends the day looking over site plans and dealing with the usual stuff that comes with building things. You can usually find us in the office early in the morning when the sun starts hitting the tower windows. It isn't a huge operation, just a handful of us making sure things go where they are supposed to go. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear the traffic outside. We don’t do much fancy talking here. If someone needs a project looked at, we just pull out the drawings and see what can be done. It’s practical work. Most of us have lived around here for a long time, so we know the local spots for tea. The office itself is just a regular workspace with desks piled with papers and some old chairs. We like it that way because it feels like home. Being in Jhoken Bagh means we are right in the middle of everything, which helps when we need to run out to a site or meet someone halfway. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but that's just part of life in an older building. We keep some spare boots in the corner for when we have to go out in the mud. It’s nothing special, just a bunch of people trying to do their jobs right.
