Gajanan Motors

Gajanan Motors is located right on the Kanpur Jhansi Highway, specifically at No-559 in Karguwan. Being on NH-25 means we see a lot of traffic coming and going at all hours. It is a dusty spot, but that is what you expect when you are working on engines and trucks all day. We have been at this location in Jhansi for a while now, and we know the highway rhythm pretty well. If a vehicle breaks down nearby, they usually find their way to us. The shop floor is usually covered in oil spots, and there are always a few old parts sitting in the corner waiting to be cleared out. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning. Usually, drivers just sit on a bench and have a tea while we look under the hood. It’s a lot of manual labor, getting under the chassis and getting grease on our clothes, but it’s what we do. The highway can be a lonely place for drivers, so we try to be a reliable stop for them. Sometimes the parts take a day to arrive from the city, and we just have to wait. We work with what we have and make sure the engines are running before they head back out on the road. It’s just us, the tools, and the sound of the trucks passing by outside. It is a basic setup, but it gets the job done.
