Khataiwala'S

We have been here at No. 417/1 in the Civil Lines area for quite some time now. Being right besides Shiv Nursing Home makes it easy for folks to find us when they are coming through the C.P. Mission Compound. It is a busy little corner of the world. Our daily routine starts early because that is just how things go when you run a place like Khataiwala'S. We mostly spend our hours handling the regular business that comes through the door. Some days are quieter than others, but there is always something to tidy up or a ledger to look over. The neighbors know us well, and we know them. It is not a fancy setup by any means. We have just got the basic furniture and the usual tools we need to get through the workday. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially with the nursing home nearby and people coming and going at all hours. We don't really do much in the way of big announcements or fancy signs. Most people just walk in because they saw the name or were told to come here by someone else in the neighborhood. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the roof just fine for now. We just focus on the work at hand and making sure everything is in its right place before we close up for the evening. It is simple, honest work here in Civil Lines.
