Chhat Bal Carrier & Bus Service

We run Chhat Bal Carrier & Bus Service right out of the Bus Stand area on Kanpur Road in Jhansi. It's a busy part of town, always full of people and noise from the engines. We handle both buses and carrier services, so there is always something being loaded or a schedule being checked. Our office is simple, located right where the action is so we can keep an eye on the vehicles. It’s been our base for a long time. Working near the bus stand means we meet all sorts of people every day. Some are just passing through, others are regulars who use our service for their business goods. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping track of the cargo and making sure the buses leave when they are supposed to. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning; it's more of a ground-level operation. You’ll usually find us covered in a bit of dust or busy talking to the loaders. We know the Kanpur Road stretch very well because our drivers are on it constantly. It’s a tough job sometimes, especially when the traffic is bad or the weather doesn't cooperate, but we just get on with it. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just move things and people from one place to another. That’s really all there is to it, and we try to stay busy every single day.
