You can find Sshasin Hospital over on Nh-12 in the Duraga Nagar part of Aklera. Being right on the highway means we get a lot of noise from the big trucks passing by at all hours of the night. It also means we see a fair amount of people who are just traveling through and need some help. The building is simple and sits right near the road, so it gets a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep the floors. We have a few beds for people who need to stay for a while and a small room where we do our consultations. Most of the people from Duraga Nagar come to us when they aren't feeling well because we are the closest place for them. The lights in the hallway sometimes flicker, and we keep meaning to get the electrician to take a look, but we usually just stay too busy with patients. We have a small area out front where people park their bikes, and there is usually a stray dog or two hanging around in the shade. It’s a very basic setup, nothing like those big city hospitals you see on television. We just have our medicine cabinets, our stethoscopes, and a lot of patience. Dealing with the heat and the highway noise is just part of our daily life here. We just try to keep things moving and help whoever walks through the door.
