Our office is located in Jhalawar, specifically in Indra colony at D-48. It’s a quiet part of Rajasthan, but we keep pretty busy with infrastructure projects. We have been working from this house-turned-office for quite some time. It has a very local feel to it. You can see the dust from the road settling on the windows every day. We deal with a lot of government paperwork and local contractors. Our desks are usually covered in site plans and site reports. It’s a small team, mostly people from around the area. We know the roads and the land around here pretty well. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes it hard to work in the afternoons, so we start early. There’s a small porch out front where we sit and talk about upcoming projects. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s a place where we actually do the work. We have a couple of old computers and a printer that acts up sometimes. We’ve had to learn how to fix things ourselves. People in the colony know us as the infrastructure folks. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from being established in the district for years. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning till night. We have an old cooler that hums in the corner and keeps the room decent when the sun is out. It’s just a normal workplace that suits what we do.
