If you go down Chhabra Station Road 2, you will find our shop. We deal in various auto parts for bikes and some smaller vehicles. I started this place because I have always liked working with machinery and fixing things. We have rows of boxes filled with spark plugs, cables, mirrors, and brake pads. It can get a bit greasy inside, but that is expected in this line of work. People come in when their vehicles start making a weird noise or when something breaks. I try to help them find the right part so they can get back on the road quickly. Sometimes we have to order things from the bigger city if it is a rare part, which can take a few days. The shop is not very large, but we make use of every inch of wall space. My hands are usually stained with oil by lunch time. We see a lot of people who are traveling through the station area. It is a practical business, really. We do not spend money on fancy displays. The parts are on the shelves and we know where everything is. I have one helper who helps with the heavy lifting and cleaning up. We open early because that is when the mechanics start their work. It is just us doing our thing on the station road, trying to keep everyone’s wheels turning and making sure we have the parts people need most often.
