Laxmi Digital Studio

Laxmi Digital Studio is located in the Jhalawar area, right near Loti School. Being near a school means we see a lot of kids and parents every day. We mostly do photography and printing, so there’s always a camera or a printer running in the back. It’s a small space, mostly filled with backdrops and lighting gear. We spend a lot of time editing photos on the computer or waiting for prints to come out of the machine. The shop is simple and we’ve tried to make it comfortable for people who come in for portraits. It gets quite busy during the wedding season or when school starts and everyone needs ID photos. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the equipment. Jhalawar is a nice place to work, even if the traffic gets a bit slow around the school in the mornings. We’ve been here for a while and most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We don't go for anything too flashy, just standard studio work that people need. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big order of prints. It’s a lot of sitting and clicking, but it’s what we do. We try to keep the shop clean but with all the paper and ink, it can get a little cluttered. It’s a local spot for local needs.
