Malav Provision Store

Down on the Baran Kota Road in Anta, you will find Malav Provision Store. We are a bit outside the main city center, so we serve a lot of the local families and workers who pass by on the highway. We’ve got the usual stuff you’d expect—cooking oil, spices, biscuits, and some household cleaners. The shop isn't very large, but we pack in as much as we can on the shelves. It’s often just one of us working, so if there’s a line of people, it might take a minute to get to everyone. We get a lot of dust from the heavy vehicles on the road, so we spend a good chunk of every morning dusting off the jars and packets. People stop by to grab a quick snack or things they forgot to buy when they were in the bigger town. We like it here in Anta; it’s a bit quieter than Kota but still has enough going on to keep us occupied. We don’t have a website or any of that fancy stuff, just a sign outside and some lightbulbs that flicker a bit when the power fluctuates. We try to stay stocked up on the things people use every day so they don't have to travel far for basic needs. It’s a simple life, opening up the shutters in the morning and closing them once the sun goes down. Most of our regulars are like friends now, stopping by to chat even if they don't really need to buy much that day.
