About Universal Furniture Jhalara – Plastic in Jhalawar
If you walk down Lunka Gate Road in Jhalarapatan, you’ll find us near the Sn Temple. Universal Furniture Jhalara is basically a workshop where there is always a bit of sawdust in the air and the sound of someone hammering away. We’ve been at this spot for quite a long time. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and air conditioning. It’s more of a place where wood gets turned into chairs, tables, and beds. We have a few guys who have been working with their hands since they were kids. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with wood planks and half-finished cupboards, but we know where everything is. People from all over Jhalarapatan come by when they need something sturdy for their house. We don't do much advertising. Usually, someone’s neighbor got a bed from us and said it was decent, so they show up too. We use simple tools and traditional ways mostly. It’s hard work and your back definitely feels it by the end of the day. The heat near the Sn Temple can get pretty bad in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We aren't trying to be the biggest furniture store in the country. We just want to make things that don't break the moment you sit on them. It’s a local business and we like it that way. Everyone around here knows the smell of our wood shavings and the sound of our saws.
