Jagariti Tea & Traders

You can find us over in Ward No.16 on Rseb Road. We are pretty close to the Punjab National Bank here in Bhawani Mandi. We deal with tea mostly, along with some other trading stuff. It’s a basic setup we have. The warehouse gets a bit dusty but that’s expected with what we do. We’ve been operating from this spot for a few years now. Most of our days are spent checking sacks and talking to suppliers. It’s not glamorous work by any means. We drink a lot of tea ourselves while we work. The bank being nearby makes it easy for us to handle the money side of things. Sometimes the street gets a little tight with the trucks coming in and out. We try to be quick so we don't bother the neighbors too much. There isn't a big team here, just a few of us who know the business well. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do honest work and get the tea out to whoever needs it. It’s a local operation and we like it that way. If you happen to be near the Punjab National Bank, you might smell the tea leaves. That’s usually us. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the daily chores of the trade. It is simple work, but it keeps us going and we've gotten quite used to the rhythm of it all.
