Bachpan

You can find our Bachpan school over in Khanpur, specifically on Jhalwara Road. We are actually quite close to Shav Motors, which makes us pretty easy to locate if you are in the Jhalawar area. It’s a playschool, so the environment is mostly about keeping the young kids occupied and happy. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we’ve painted the walls and put up a lot of posters to make it look cheerful for the children. We have a few rooms where the kids sit on the floor or at small tables to do their drawing and counting. The staff here are just regular people from around Khanpur who enjoy being with children. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated methods. We just stick to the basics of early childhood education. During the summer, it gets quite hot here in Rajasthan, so we make sure the fans are always running. The parents who bring their kids here are mostly local shopkeepers or farmers from the nearby villages. They just want a place where their children can learn to socialize and pick up some basic skills. We don’t have a big office or a marketing department. If you want to know about us, you just stop by and have a chat. It’s a simple operation, and we like keeping it that way. Everyone knows everyone else in this part of town, which makes it feel safe. We often share snacks together.
