Down in Jhajjar, right near the Govt. School Kharhar, you'll find Rbg Mutual Benefitsnidhi Limited. We’re in Shop No. 2, Vpo Kharhar, Bahadurgarh. It’s a very local spot in the village. Bahadurgarh isn’t too far off, but we feel like we’re in our own little world here. The school kids walk past every morning making a racket, which is nice in a way. It makes the place feel alive. We’ve got this small shop where we handle the Nidhi business. It’s basically just us and a few ledgers. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s clean and it works for what we need. People from the village come in after they’re done with their chores or farming work. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone’s name, or at least whose son or daughter they are. We don't do anything flashy. It’s just about keeping the records straight and making sure everyone’s money is where it should be. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. That’s just how life is in this part of Haryana. We like it here. It’s quiet, and we’re doing something useful for the folks who live right on our street. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help our neighbors save a bit for the future. It’s a slow pace, but it suits us just fine.
