Purchase Officer

We’re based out of Prakash Nagar in Bahadurgarh. Our office for Purchase Officer is part of the Surya Roshni Ltd premises here in Haryana. It’s a big site, and we handle the purchase officer duties from our corner of the building. My name is Lobzang Chosphel, and I’ve been here for a while now. The work is mostly about keeping track of what needs to be bought and making sure it arrives when it’s supposed to. Bahadurgarh is an industrial area, so there’s always trucks and activity around us. It can get pretty dusty and loud, but that’s just part of the environment. We have a lot of work to get through every day, and the desk is usually covered in notes and receipts. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We don’t have a lot of time for fancy meetings. Usually, it’s just quick conversations to solve problems as they come up. The winter here can be quite cold, so we drink a lot of tea to stay warm while we work. We don't really have any promotional stuff to say. We just do the procurement and try to keep things running smooth. It's an honest day's work in a busy part of the state. We know the guys at the gate and the drivers pretty well. It’s a routine that works for us and keeps the supply chain moving along without too many delays.
