Our place is located in Aurangpur, which is a bit of a drive out in the Jhajjar district. Most people know the area around Manesar for all the big industry, but we are tucked away in the V.P.O. area. It is a bit quieter out here than in the main city hubs where everything is crowded. We do biotech work, which might sound complicated to some, but for us, it is just the daily routine of lab work and processing different materials. The building is purely functional. We have labs and storage areas that have to be kept at certain temperatures, so we are always checking the gauges and monitors. It is not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or carpets. People work in lab coats and spend a lot of time looking at samples or managing the equipment. We have a relatively small team here. Most of us live nearby or commute in from the surrounding villages. Sometimes the power goes out unexpectedly and we have to rely on the back-up generators to keep everything running. It is just how things are in this part of the state. We handle various biological products and ship them out whenever they are ready. It involves a lot of careful record-keeping and making sure nothing gets contaminated. We are not a huge corporation; we just focus on the technical stuff we know how to do. The road to the office can be a bit bumpy.
