Chauhan Brothers

We are out in Luhari Village in the Jhajjar district. It’s a bit of a drive to get to us, but we are easy to find because we are near the HP petrol pump. Being a family business, it’s mostly just us brothers and a few local guys running things every day. The village life is a bit slower than the city, which we actually like. We have our workspace set up where we can handle different types of jobs. It’s not a fancy corporate setup; it’s more like a large workshop with a lot of heavy tools and spare parts scattered around. We spend a lot of time outside or in the shed, and since we are near the main road, we get quite a bit of dust. People from the surrounding villages know us, and they stop by if they need something done or just to say hello and have a quick chat. Sometimes we are working on a tractor, other times it’s something for a local building. We don’t really have set office hours; if there is work to do, we stay until it’s finished. It can be a bit isolated out here in Jhajjar, but we have everything we need to keep going. We don't use a lot of fancy technology for our business; we mostly rely on what we’ve learned over the years from our father and each other. It’s honest, local work and we’re happy to be part of the community here.
