Out here at 515 in the Modern Industrial Estate in Bahadurgarh, things move at a bit of a different pace than in the main city. It’s a wide-open area with lots of big sheds and warehouses, and our spot is just one of many where people are busy making things. We’ve got a decent-sized space that allows us to keep our equipment and materials organized, though things can get a bit cluttered when we are in the middle of a big production run. The walk from the main gate is a bit of a trek, but it’s good to get the fresh air before the workday starts. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the tasks at hand, whether that’s maintaining the machinery or checking the final products before they get packed away. The canteen nearby is where most of us end up at midday, chatting with workers from the other units about how their day is going. We don't have any fancy signage or a big lobby; people just come straight to the side door if they need to talk to us. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense environment. We focus on getting the job done right and making sure everyone stays safe while they’re doing it. The winters here can get quite cold in the warehouse, so we all wear extra layers and keep moving to stay warm. It’s honest, hard work and we take a lot of pride in just showing up and doing what we do every single day.
