Hari Om Ice Cream Agency

Hari Om Ice Cream Agency is out in Village Machroli, right along the NH-71 highway in Jhajjar. Because we are on the national highway, we see a lot of trucks and long-distance travelers stopping by. It’s a dusty spot, and the wind blows pretty hard across the open fields around the village. We mostly act as an agency, so we have large storage units to keep everything frozen before it goes out to other small shops or vendors. It’s a lot of work to manage the logistics, especially when the weather is very hot and you have to move things quickly so they do not melt. We spend our days checking the inventory lists and making sure the delivery bikes are ready to go. The office part of the building is just a small room with a desk and some old chairs. It’s not fancy at all, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we have to rely on the generator, which is really loud and smells like diesel. We’re used to the noise of the highway and the constant movement of vehicles. It’s a busy life, and we don't have much time for anything else other than keeping the ice cream cold and getting it where it needs to go. We often have tea with the truck drivers who stop to take a break.
