It is not exactly a tourist destination, just a hardworking town where things are always moving. We have a lot of trucks coming through and the ground is usually covered in a bit of grit and dust from the local activity. The office is simple and stays quite busy during the daylight hours. Most of us here prefer it that way. We do not talk much about big goals; we just look at what needs to be built or fixed today. Sometimes we sit outside during the short breaks if it is not too hot or dusty. The local food is heavy and it keeps us going through the long shifts. It is a quiet place once the sun goes down, which is a nice change from the noisier cities we sometimes have to visit. We have been at this Po-Jharli location for some time now. Everyone knows everyone else's name around the office, which makes it feel a bit more like a small community. It is just a practical place for practical people who do not mind the heat.
