Dhaur Farmers Producer Company Limited

You can find us at house 110 in the village of Dhaur. It’s a small place in Jhajjar where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We started this producer company because it seemed like the right thing to do for the folks around here. We handle a lot of the local farming needs, mostly just coordinating among ourselves. There’s a lot of dust and a lot of sun, but that’s just how it is in this part of the country. We aren't a big corporation with people in suits. Most of the time we are in our work clothes, just trying to get the tractors fixed or the grain stored. Being in Dhaur means we are a bit away from the big cities, which suits us just fine. We keep the books in the village office and try to make sure the younger guys learn how to manage the land too. It’s not always easy keeping everyone on the same page, but we try. Sometimes we sit out front and talk about the old days when things were different. Now, we have this company to help us stay steady. It’s about the land and the crops at the end of the day. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to get by. If you’re ever passing through Jhajjar, you’ll likely see us out in the fields or near the main road by the village post office.
