Amrit Organic Milk

We handle the milk business here in Pilani, specifically in the Jhajjkar Nagar area. It’s a routine that starts very early, way before the sun is even up. That’s the nature of dairy. We have to get everything ready for the morning deliveries. The air is always cold in the winter when we start. We deal with organic milk, so there’s a lot of care that goes into how we handle things. It’s not just about bottles; it’s about the animals too. Our place in Jhajjkar Nagar isn't anything fancy. It’s a practical space where we store the milk and keep our equipment clean. Cleaning takes up a huge part of our day. You can’t be in the milk business and be messy. My family has been doing this kind of work for a long time. We know the streets of Pilani pretty well by now. People recognize our van when we go around. Sometimes the cows are stubborn, or a machine breaks down, and we have to fix it on the fly. We don’t have a big marketing team. We just talk to our neighbors and the people who buy our milk. It’s honest work. By the time most people are starting their work day, we’ve already finished the busiest part of ours. We usually take a nap in the afternoon when the shop is quiet and the sun is high.
