You can find Agro Tech Foods Ltd. at Plot No. 902/2 in the Gidc Mega Estate. Being in a Mega Estate means we have a lot of neighbors and there’s always something happening. We work with food, so we have to keep things fairly clean, but it’s still an industrial unit at the end of the day. There’s the sound of packaging machines and the smell of whatever we are processing that day. It’s a busy atmosphere. We have shifts running to make sure everything gets finished. The office is just a small part of the building where we handle the logistics. We don't have any flashy signs or a big reception desk. If you come by, you’ll probably just see someone in a hairnet or a lab coat walking around. We don't do much in the way of advertising ourselves. We just focus on the production lines. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend all day getting them back on track. It’s frustrating, but it’s part of the job. During lunch, we sit outside if the weather is okay. We talk about our families and what’s going on in the estate. It’s a straightforward life. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure the food gets packed and sent out to the shops on time. It’s what we know how to do best.
