We are over at Plot No. 40 in Sector II here in Dhar. Most days it’s just the sound of machines and people talking over the noise. We’ve been here for a while now. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the workshop area. We mostly deal with technical parts and fabrication stuff. Sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole morning fixing it. That is just how it is. It is not always pretty. There is a lot of dust from the road nearby. People come and go throughout the day. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk and some chairs and the shop floor. Our neighbors are also in manufacturing so there is always a lot of truck movement around here. We try to get our work done by the evening so everyone can get home. The tea stall around the corner is where most of us end up during breaks. It’s a simple life. We make what people ask for and try to keep things moving. There is always a pile of scrap metal in the corner that needs moving. Dhar is a quiet place mostly, except for these industrial patches. We focus on the work right in front of us.
