Our facility is located at Plot No. 115 to 118 in the A.K.V.N. Industrial Area in Meghnagar. It’s a pretty large site because we need the space for the tanks and the processing equipment. The landscape around here is quite dry, and the industrial area feels a bit isolated from the main town. When you come onto the site, you see a lot of pipes and metal structures climbing up into the sky. It’s a very practical environment. We have to wear boots and safety gear most of the time, which can be uncomfortable in the heat. The air often smells a bit like chemicals or wet earth. We have a small office building near the gate where the supervisors keep the logs and track the shipments. There’s a lot of dust because of the trucks coming in and out of the unpaved parts of the yard. We have a canteen where the guys get their tea and snacks during the shift change. It’s a serious place of work, and we don’t have time for anything that isn't necessary. The machines run for long hours, and there is always a mechanic around to make sure nothing stops unexpectedly. It’s a big operation but it feels like a small community since most of us have been working here at Meghnagar for a long time now.
