Raj General Store

Raj General Store is right there at the Bus Stand. It is a small place but we manage to fit a lot of stuff inside the walls. Since we are so close to where the buses come and go, there is never a quiet moment. You hear the engines and the horns all day long, and there is always a crowd of people looking for something. We try to keep the basics on hand because that’s what most folks are looking for when they are traveling. The shelves can get a bit messy during the rush hours, and we spend a lot of our time just putting things back where they belong. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll see the same couple of faces behind the counter every time you stop in. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights, just a basic shop where you can get what you need without a fuss. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we run out of things, but we just wait for the next truck to arrive. It’s a busy life being at the Bus Stand, but we like seeing all the different people who pass through. We don't do any advertising; the location does all the work for us. Most of our customers are just people in a hurry, and we try to get them on their way quickly.
