We are out in Jetpur, specifically at Bhadarna Sama Kanthe. If you know Jetpur, you know it’s famous for its textile work, especially the dyeing and printing. Our place is right there near the riverbank area, which is where a lot of the action happens. The air usually smells a bit like chemicals and damp cloth, but that’s just the smell of work to us. We’ve got a large space here to handle the processing. It’s not a clean, white-walled office. It’s a factory floor with splashes of color everywhere and people moving fast to get the drying done before the sun goes down or the rain starts. We spend our days making sure the colors come out right and the fabric is strong. It’s hard on the hands and the back, but it’s what we know. We don't have time for fancy talks or polished brochures. People come to us because they know we produce decent work and we’ve been doing it for years. The machinery can be loud, so we usually have to shout to be heard. When the shift ends, we’re all tired but it’s a good kind of tired. We just focus on getting the next batch ready for the market. It’s a messy, loud, and honest way to make a living, and we take pride in getting the orders finished properly.
