Shivam Cotton Prints

Shivam Cotton Prints is located in Shivam Udyog Nagar on Rabarika Road. We are pretty easy to spot if you find the Bharat Gas Godown, as we are right near there. Being in an Udyog Nagar means we are surrounded by other workshops and small factories, so there is always the sound of machinery or trucks in the background. We focus mostly on cotton prints, which means our space is always full of color and different patterns. Cotton is a nice material to work with, but it can get quite dusty when you’re handling large amounts of it. We spend our mornings unloading deliveries and our afternoons sorting through the different prints to see what came out well. The shop isn't fancy. We have heavy metal tables and some old chairs that have seen better days. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the fabric to worry about that. It’s a hot job in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job with the prints and keep our spot in Udyog Nagar running smoothly. The gas godown is a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before. We like the industrial feel of Rabarika Road; it suits the kind of hands-on work we do here.
