Naren Chemicals

Naren Chemicals is situated right near the Ramnath Temple in Modhvadi. Because we are so close to the temple we often hear the bells ringing and the chanting during the festivals which is a nice change from the usual workshop sounds. Our place is tucked away and isn't very large so we have to be quite organized with how we stack the chemical bags and drums. We have a small crew and everyone knows exactly what they are supposed to be doing as soon as they walk in. The building itself is an older one and the plumbing can be a bit temperamental sometimes but we make do. We spend a lot of time measuring out stuff and making sure the containers are sealed tight before they go out. It gets pretty hot in Modhvadi during the summer months so we try to do the heaviest work early in the morning when it is still relatively cool. There isn't much of a lobby or anything so if someone comes by they usually just find us in the back where the actual work happens. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day and that's about the only luxury we have here. It’s a basic life and a basic business but it has been going on like this for years now and we are happy enough with how things are.
