Khatri Textile

We have been running things here at 5 Manish Market for quite a while now. It is a busy little spot in the Kanakia Plot area and the street noise usually stays pretty loud throughout the day. People come by looking for different kinds of fabrics and we just try to keep up with what everyone needs. The shop itself isn't huge but we manage to fit a lot of textile rolls in here. Sometimes the stacks get so high it is hard to see the back wall. It is just me and a couple of others working most of the time. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There is always tea being passed around from the stall nearby which keeps us going. You get used to the sound of the traffic and the people walking past. It is not a fancy place but it works for us and our regulars. We handle a lot of different materials and sometimes the colors get all mixed up during the afternoon rush. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the middle of the market. It can be a bit dusty sometimes because of the wind but that is just how the neighborhood is. We do not have a big website or anything, we just focus on the people who walk in. Most days are long and we spend time measuring and cutting for folks. It is honest work.
