Devangi Processors

We are based in Jetpur, working in the processing line. If you’ve been to Jetpur, you know it’s a place where everything is about textiles and colors. Our facility isn't something you’d find in a brochure. It’s a working plant with machines that run for hours and the smell of dyes in the air. We spend our days managing the processing of fabrics. It’s messy work. My clothes usually have some spots of color on them by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy front office with a receptionist. Most of the time, I’m out on the floor making sure the temperatures are right and the fabrics are moving through the machines like they should. It gets very hot in the summer, especially with all the steam from the processing units. We have a team of local workers who have been with us for years. We just focus on the job at hand. The town of Jetpur is built around this kind of work, so we fit right in with the rest of the industrial area. There is always noise from the heavy machinery and trucks coming in to load up. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People in the trade know where we are and what we do. It’s just daily grit and keeping the production going until the sun goes down. It is hard work, but it is what we know.
