Venkatesh Tiles

Venkatesh Tiles is a small shop, specifically Shop No-6, and we are located right opposite the Jejuri Police Station. It’s a very easy landmark to give people when they are trying to find us. Being across from the police station means there is always something going on outside, and it’s a pretty safe spot to be. Our shop is filled with different samples of tiles for floors and walls. We don't have a massive warehouse, but we keep a decent variety of things that people usually look for when they are fixing up their homes or shops. Most of the day is spent chatting with locals who walk in to see what’s new or to pick up a few boxes they ordered. We handle most of the heavy lifting ourselves, carrying tiles out to cars or rickshaws parked in front. It’s just a regular local business life here in Jejuri. We’ve gotten to know a lot of the families around here over the years. We don't do much in the way of marketing or big promotions. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for whoever needs some tile work done. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we like being part of the community right here on this street. It isn't anything fancy, but it works for us. We just keep the samples organized and talk to the people who stop by to discuss their renovation ideas or simple repair needs for their bathrooms or kitchens.
