Shariman Organics

Out here in Taluk Jaysingpur, things move at a bit of a different pace compared to the bigger cities in Kolhapur district. Shariman Organics is based right in the heart of this area. We spend our days working with organic materials, which usually means getting our hands a bit dirty. The air out here is usually better than in the industrial zones, though when the wind blows from the fields, you can really smell the soil. We have a modest setup where we process what we need. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the quality of the batches and making sure nothing gets contaminated. We aren’t some massive factory; it’s more of a local operation where everyone knows each other’s names. Most of our workers come from nearby villages, so there’s a lot of talk about the local crops and the weather. The rain matters a lot to us here because it affects how we handle our organic stocks. We keep our equipment simple and try to maintain a clean workspace, though dust is always a battle in Kolhapur. It’s a straightforward life, coming in early, checking the warehouse, and making sure the supplies are packed correctly for transport. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a gate, a storage area, and the space where we do the actual work. It’s honest labor and we’re glad to be part of the Jaysingpur community. There's a small shed where we keep the records and eat our lunch when the sun is too high.
