Ashvi Trades

Ashvi Trades is tucked away in 7th Lane on Gandhi Road. It’s right across from the HDFC Bank, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us once they get to the main stretch. Gandhi Road is always moving, always loud with rickshaws and cars. Our spot in the lane is a bit quieter, but not much. We’ve been operating from here for some time now. We handle a bit of everything when it comes to trading. There’s no big philosophy behind it; we just buy and sell what’s needed. The office is small and usually has a few ledgers lying around. We don’t use those fancy computer systems for everything yet. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. It’s a local operation. If the bank is open, we’re usually open too. 7th Lane can get a bit cramped if a big delivery truck comes through, so we have to time things right. We know most of the other shopkeepers on this block. It’s a tight community. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us answering the phones and talking to the people who walk in. People come to us because they know we are right here on Gandhi Road. We keep our records, do our work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't need much else.
