About Greenwood High School – Education in Jayashankar Bhupalpally
Greenwood High School is tucked away in Hasanparthy, specifically near the Kits area in Erragattugutta. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but most people around here know the 10-69/1 plot number. I’ve lived in this part of town for a long time, and the school has become a regular part of the landscape. The mornings are usually quite loud with kids shouting as they head up toward the school grounds. We deal with the typical stuff you’d expect in a place like this—lots of heat in the summer and some muddy paths when it rains. The area near Erragattugutta has changed a lot, but the school stays pretty much the same year after year. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s business, which is just how things go in a small place like Hasanparthy. There isn't any big sign or flashing lights to find us, just the usual gates and the sound of bells. Most of the families who send their children here are from nearby streets, so we see them at the market or the bus stop too. We spend our time checking notebooks and making sure the classrooms are swept before everyone arrives. It’s just honest work day in and day out. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of money for decorations, so we just focus on what’s in front of us. It is a plain and simple life here at the school.
